Telegrf Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
Telegrf is run by Pantha Labs LLC in Miami, Florida ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information Telegrf handles when you use telegrf.com, telegrf.app or the Telegrf Android app.
The short version: Telegrf has no accounts. Your messages, calls, photos, videos and files go directly between devices, and we don't store them. We keep only the small amount of information needed to connect you, keep your number working and keep people safe. We don't sell your information or use it for ads.
1. What we never collect or store
- No account details. We don't ask for your email, phone number, password, birthday or real name.
- No conversations. We don't store your messages, voice notes, calls, video, photos, files or live streams. They travel directly between devices, or through our relay in encrypted form, and aren't kept.
- No camera or microphone recordings. Camera effects (including face, eye, teeth and hair effects) and translation run on your device. Your face, voice and images aren't sent to us.
- No contacts from your phone. Telegrf doesn't read your phone's address book. Your Telegrf contacts are ones you save in the app.
- No ad tracking. We don't use advertising trackers or sell data to data brokers.
2. What stays on your device, and what you share with others
On your device only: your name and photo, language, settings, saved contacts, chosen effect, and the keys that prove your Telegrf number is yours. These are stored in your browser or the app. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app deletes them, unless you've made a backup.
Shared with people you connect to: when you connect with someone, their device receives your name, photo, language, device type (for example "iPhone"), Telegrf number if you have one, and what you send them. Because the connection is direct, they may also be able to see your device's IP address. Only connect with people you trust.
3. What our servers handle
This is everything our servers keep, why we keep it, and for how long.
| Information | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Device key: a random code your device makes, not linked to your name | Lets us block abusive devices and limit spam | Not stored, unless the device is blocked or reported |
| IP address, approximate country and network | Connecting you, preventing abuse, and limiting connection attempts | A few hours for rate limits. Longer only if a network is blocked |
| Your temporary code and connection details | The phone book uses them to help two online devices find each other | Only while you're online. Not saved |
| Your Telegrf number, its public key, who-can-ring setting and block list | Lets people reach your number and lets you control who can | Until you release the number or we remove it |
| Push notification address | Ringing your device when Telegrf is closed | Until you turn ringing off or release your number |
| Encrypted number backup | Lets you restore your number on a new device | Until you ask us to delete it. We can't read it |
| Reports you send | Reviewing safety problems | 180 days |
| Basic web analytics: pages visited, device and browser type, country | Understanding how many people use Telegrf. Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies | Per Cloudflare's retention |
| Server logs: time, page or service used, IP address | Fixing problems and keeping the service secure | Up to a few days on Cloudflare |
About reports: a report includes your reason and note, the reported device's key and name, and your own device key. It includes up to 20 of the other person's recent messages only if you tick "Include their last messages."
4. Other companies involved
Telegrf uses a few outside services. When your device connects to them, they can see its IP address and basic browser details, under their own privacy policies.
| Company | What it does for Telegrf |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website, the relay, the phone book and our small database. Provides web analytics without cookies |
| Provides the face-tracking and hair-finding files for camera effects and the fonts the website uses | |
| jsDelivr | Delivers some of the app's code files |
| Apple, Google or Mozilla push services | Deliver the "someone is calling" alert when ringing is on |
| Stripe (if we add paid features) | Processes payments. We never see your full card number |
We don't share your information with anyone else, except as described in section 5.
5. How we use information, and what we don't do
We use the information in section 3 only to:
- connect you with the people you choose and keep your number working;
- ring your device when someone calls;
- prevent spam, abuse and attacks, and act on reports;
- understand overall usage and fix problems;
- follow the law.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or build profiles about you.
We may share information only:
- when the law requires it, such as a valid court order. Because we don't store conversations, there's very little to share;
- to prevent serious harm, such as a threat to someone's life or a child's safety. This includes reporting child sexual abuse material to NCMEC;
- if Telegrf is sold or merged. The new owner would have to follow this policy or tell you about changes first.
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete your number: release your number in Settings. Its record and ringing address are removed from our servers. To delete an encrypted backup too, email us.
- Delete what's on your device: clear your browser's site data for telegrf.com, or uninstall the app.
- Turn off ringing: switch off ringing in Settings, or turn off notifications for Telegrf in your phone settings.
- Camera, microphone and notifications: you can allow or block these anytime in your browser or phone settings.
- Ask us: email brianray@panthalabs.com to ask what information we hold about your device or number, or to have it deleted or corrected. We'll answer within 30 days. Because there are no accounts, we may ask you to prove the number or device is yours, for example by using the app.
- Where you live may give you more rights, such as under California or European privacy laws. We'll honor those rights where they apply.
7. Adults only
Telegrf is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. When you first open Telegrf, it asks for your date of birth to confirm you're 18 or older. The check happens on your device. Your date of birth isn't saved or sent to us; the app only remembers whether the check was passed. If you believe someone under 18 is using Telegrf, email brianray@panthalabs.com. We'll block the device and delete any information we hold about it.
8. Security, where data is kept, changes and contact
- Security. Connections between devices are encrypted. Number backups are encrypted on your device before they reach us. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum, so there's little to expose.
- Where data is kept. Our servers run on Cloudflare's global network, so information may be handled in the United States and other countries.
- Changes. We'll post updates at telegrf.com/privacy with a new effective date. For important changes, we'll also give notice in the app.
